{The River House}

A few days ago we spent one of the first warm evenings of Spring out at The River House.
Bek filled our bellies with homemade corn bread, soup, campfire hotdogs, S'mores,
and fresh greens from the Scholten's garden. Talk about a feast!
The boys ran around without their shirts on and got grass-stained knees while we laughed at the pups, drank Bundaberg, and enjoyed time with these sweet friends visiting from South Carolina.
It was a simple evening that reminded me most of how much I have to be thankful for.
I'm still humbled by the friends we've made here, the things they've taught us, and
the place we get to call home.
Looking forward to more evenings and meals spent outside in the days ahead.

I'm enjoying the temperate weather too while we can! We live in the desert so all to quickly it will get unbearable outside even though it looks (deceivingly) wonderful out. Looks like you had a great night!
