{Today's Letters}

Dear Mr. Loerke, this weekend we installed our first rain barrel. This means we now own a hacksaw and meat thermometer. {Because you can never go to Lowe's and leave with just one thing}. Dear Tristan, thank you for taking me to your high school art exhibit last week. I left A) feeling inspired B) craving time with you in your studio and C) wishing I could eat the watercolor of asparagus you painted. Dear Third Floor Office, I avoid unpacking you like I avoid going to the dentist. Maybe tomorrow's crown will inspire me to get you organized so I can read a book in your window seat. Dear Timothy James, you've officially made it 14 days without sugar. You deserve a cupcake bowl of bananas the size of your head. So proud of you.

Happy Tuesday, brave ones! What was your favorite class in high school?

English! Final answer! Loved it whether I went to school in Germany or America. Favorite thing was to read books like Pride&Prejudice or stories by Shakespeare :-)
Happy Tuesday and good luck with unpacking those boxes!

Oh boy... in contrast to Kristina I disliked English as much as Latin, and my English only got better while being in the US ;)

My favorite classes were art, sports and math :)

While just eating my 'afternoon piece of chocolate' as motivation for oranizing my paperwork ;) I look up to Tims 14 days!

Math for sure! Currently a Math Major hoping to then teach high schoolers to love math as much as I do.

Definitely my jazz classes, followed by my dance history class! (I went to a performing arts high school, so most of my classes were awesome fun ones.)

I love our rain barrel... the Mosquitos that it attracts is a different sentiment.

English was by far my favorite. And all of my literature classes - I loved to read {and still do!}.

Congrats to Mr. Loerke on his 14 days! He has more cajones than I do. The thought of trying that scares me.
