Dear Timothy James, this morning we get to bring River home after getting her lady parts removed at the vet. Can we put Pound Puppies under her belly so she can still feel like a mama? Dear Wiltshire Pantry, three fist pumps for making want to bathe in my Reuben sandwich with a giant loofah. I have a feeling we'll be eating lots of you this summer. Dear Newbery Medal Winners, I've always wanted to read every book on your list. Can't wait to start soon with a group of friends who love children's stories as much as I do. Dear Husband, wanna polyurethane the porch swing, lay stone pavers with me in the backyard, and grill burgers on pretzel buns at the Harvest House today? {Circle YES or NO}.

Happy Thursday, brave ones! Favorite sandwich you've ever eaten? Go.

BLT, hands down! The woman at our cafeteria always asks me if I want lettuce and tomato on my BLT. It makes me laugh.

Woohoo for Newbery books! I teach fourth grade and have a Newbery challenge each year. The student who reads the most Newbery books gets their name in the Hall of Fame! I too am trying to get them all read. Currently rereading "Walk Two Moons" with a student this summer. LOVE that book! Good luck on the list!

If you're ever in or around Carrollton, GA you have to visit Corner Café on the square! The Pita Framptom is out of this world. Pita Frampton: Cream Cheese, Chicken Breast, Corn, Ranch, Jalapeno Peppers, Avocado and Mozzarella Baked in Pita Bread. Pregnancy may have led me to believe this is better than it really is but I HIGHLY doubt that.

Thanks for giving us a constant list of places to visit when the hubs and I head up to KY for a weekend.

Side note: all these home projects you and your hubs tackle - where do you learn how? Or are you two just stinkin' geniuses? New homeowners here & need to know where to start. Thanks!

Ham, Cheddar, bacon, grilled tomatoes and lettuce on a toasted onion bagel. All toasted together, (lettuce put on last). It doesn't have a name, it's a sandwich of my childhood.
