{Gratitude} Lately

Sunday, July 21, 2013

Lately I've been thankful for bare feet and post dinner rides in my jammers.

For fresh dill and homemade pickles.

For a mowed lawn and a rooster that makes me laugh.

For the gift of sound and my mom's restored '62 Gibson.

For fresh beet juice and counter tops that won't stain.

For shared beer flights and a best who appreciates good Belgian beer.

And for morning walks and lettuce bouquets from the community garden.
What have you been grateful for lately?
Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough.
Happy Sunday, brave ones.

I'm thankful for all the amazing July sunshine, which reminds me that Oregon isnt all rain.

I'm thankful for a niece and nephew that at 1.5 and 3.5 are some of the raddest people I know.

I'm thankful for a Savior that is pretty amazing and blesses me more than I deserve.

I am grateful for eight foot tall cornfields, babies that are finally learning to be sisters and a husband who takes me to the river for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Lately I have been grateful for having the best sister-in-law anyone could wish for, for vegan blackberry ice cream that tastes d-to-the-licious, and for 10 weeks of summer break full of adventures :)
Happy Monday!

Awww it is difficult not to be jealous of your community garden :) I am grateful for a clean pup who is cuddling with me, a warm cup of coffee, my friends and family who love me no matter what, and time to make difficult decisions about moving (even though it never seems like enough time).

I'm grateful for my pup passing his annual check up this past weekend and for you posting so many good pickle recipes- have any for salsa?

I am grateful for fancy mugs filled with coffee and a cozy home to call my own.

I am such a big fan of your gratitude posts! They are very well written and inspiring.
