Dear Mr. Loerke, during the tornado warning last night you told me to go to the basement, take cover in River's crate, and grab the leftover box of Nord's donuts off the table. {Because if I'm gonna die I might as well croak in a cage with glazed icing all over my face, right?}. Dear Baby Bump, you're making it difficult to do things like sleep on my belly and button my jeans. Good thing our pup could care less about me walking around with my pants unzipped. Dear This American Life, I finally started listening to your broadcast which first aired on NPR in 1995. Pretty sure I'll be retired in Florida and carrying an oxygen tank by the time I'm caught up on all of your episodes. Dear Timothy James, in honor of my favorite holiday, what do you get when you cross a turkey with an octopus? Enough drumsticks for Thanksgiving!

Happy Monday, brave ones! What are you most looking forward to this Thanksgiving? Sadly, this will be our first Thanksgiving away from Tulsa in almost 10 years. Ames, we're counting on you to lead the Founder's Chorus at Utica Square!

Thanksgiving is my anniversary with my hubs...looking forward to celebrating pne more year together. Thankful for each moment. And finally being able to put up my Christmas deco.

Celebrating your baby bump as he/she makes their first appeances on your blog covered in flannel and unzipped jeans. :)

I look forward to (a) making Drunken Cranberries (b) hearing my mother-in-law talk each year about how those cranberries almost burned down her new kitchen in 2009 and (c) playing Yhatzee with the nephews. Always a good time!

Thanks for a laugh this morning with the visual image you created of climbing into a dog crate with a box of donuts! Glad all is well.

Yeah for baby bump pictures on the blog. So cute! Although we obviously don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Germany I'm still looking forward to spending a yummy meal, good conversation and lots of laughter with a group of friends next week. Thanksgiving always takes place around my birthday so I do celebrate it afterall ;-)

Happy to be spending the holiday with our next door neighbors and their entire family, in-laws and all. They always checked in on my while my husband was on an 8 month deployment last year. Yay for surrogate families when your own is 16 hours away! Blessed :)

It's going to be our first Thanksgiving away from the fam too, but I'm so excited to have a nice Turkey dinner with new friends, and to host a Friendsgiving party on black Friday :)

Also, not being able to sleep on my stomach is one of my biggest fears - I'll be very interested to hear how you handle it!!
