{Black Mountain} North Carolina

My time in North Carolina with the aunties a couple of weeks ago was perfect.
We ate hearty soup, devoured homemade apple pie, walked the dogs by the creek, made a trip to the farmer's market, slept in sleeping bags, ate mid-morning Asian pear gallettes, visited Dynamite coffee & the Pisgah Brewery, had fox sightings, climbed up Lookout Mountain, ate lunch at Louise's,
and did lots of antique shop exploring.
What more could a girl ask for??
I love my family.

Sister time is so great! Mine is in Seattle and I'm in Illinois. Funnily enough, the distance seems to be making us closer! :) We hear so much about Sarah Eloise LaToya Rainbow Richmond! What is this sister's awesome name?

I LOVE Black Mountain. Last Christmas James and I spent our first anniversary there at the Red Rocker Inn! I have a particular affinity for Asheville and the surrounding areas and have always visited as much as possible!

That's my neck of the woods!! I live in Black Mountain...I walk to Louise's all the time, live off of Dynamite, and hang with my peeps at Pisgah! I wish I had seen you and nervously asked if you were in fact that girl from Today's Letters. I have followed your blog for years and never commented but always benefitted from your perspective and admired your love of the simple things. How cool! Hope you come again!
