{Today's Letters}

Dear Timothy James, thank you for reminding me of important things like countdowns when turning on our Christmas lights. Making things exciting has always been one of your greatest gifts. Dear Latest Pregnancy Craving, one word: jalapenos. On everything. Dear Leg Lamp In Our Window, you are reason #753 why I love living at the Harvest House. Here's to drinking our Ovaltine and wishing Santa would bring us a pair of Aunt Clara's bunny pajamas for Christmas. Dear Husband, praise the Great Lion of Judah for flea markets. Your new sweater is nothing short of amazeballs.

Happy Wednesday, brave ones! What's your favorite Holiday movie? A Christmas Story will always be our favorite!

Loved your instamovie of turning on your Christmas lights. Your house looks so pretty!
Favorite Christmas movies have to be 1) Little Lord Fauntleroy (it's a British movie from the 1980s. I'm not sure if it's popular in the US), 2)Miracle on 34th Stree (made me believe in Santa again after I was told he wasn't real) and very recently 3) The Family Stone (reminds me at Christmas at our home :D)
Happy Wednesday!!!

I'm required by law to like It's a Wonderful Life, but I think I like Elf more.

btw - sabores picantes were high on my Mom's list when pregnant with me. enchiladas were the pre-labor meal. just sayin.

"Ernst Saves Christmas" was the all time favourite when my sister and I were little, and more recently since her two little boys have come along it is "polar express". but honestly, I love them all. :-)

A Christmas Story is my favorite as well! My family always watches it Christmas Eve after going to church and opening a present. It's probably my favorite tradition. It's also an amazing movie to quote. I am fully jealous of your leg lamp. Merry Christmas!

Top favorites include A Christmas Story, Scrooge (w/Albert Finney), and Elf. It was everything in me to wait until after Thanksgiving to start watching these this year!

Love A Christmas Story! My husband actually received a pink bunny suit from his Aunt Marty (not Clara) two years ago! If you think Ralphie looks hilarious in one, you've never seen a grown man sporting the look!
