Lions, Tigers, & Bears! {Well, Almost}

Saturday, January 18, 2014

Thanks to the people at the Wildlife In Need Animal Rescue, Molls and  I were able to
cross another adventure off of our bucket list Thursday night!
We got to hold 15 week old baby tigers who drank from bottles, growled when they were picked up, and liked to leave bitemarks on our arms & arses.
The sweet joey we held interacted well with the tigers but preferred to be hanging on the wall in her marsupial bag. Do you blame her? She was the sweetest!
Happy Saturday, brave ones!
What's one of thing you'd like to cross off your bucket list this year?

As I said before. SO adorable/AWESOME. Holding a young tiger has been on my bucket list for a long time, but for this year at least, bucket-listing must go on hold while I work on getting through medical school. 2015 had better watch out though, when graduation comes, it's marathon-running, tiger-holding, continent-hopping time :)

Finally getting my bachelors degree at the ripe old age of 41 this August! Then I can have the initials of RN BSN after my name. Woot!

bucket list = make sourdough bread. holding joeys down under wouldn't be bad to add to the list, though.

Hoping to cross, "sell house, buy land and move three babies and 8 chickens and ourselves out to the country!" So praying this is the year!

So awesome! Would love to cuddle/play with tigers and joeys! My animal-related bucket list item is riding an elephant in Africa, but that will be another year. This year planning to search for seashells on the beach in Charleston, SC.

That is so awesome! I'm very jealous! I'd want to bring that beautiful tiger home with me. :)

To work my brain box off and get into the College of Education program. Being admitted into this program will bring me one huge step closer to achieving my dream of becoming a math teacher.
