Dear Timothy James, it only took me three days but I finally found our traveling journal. Your words and hiding place were sweeter than hearing James Taylor being played on my mom's '62 Gibson. Dear Jack Bauer, there's nothing like waiting 4 years for you to raise from the dead like Lazarus. Counting down the days until May when you and Chloe O'Brien take back CTU! Dear Cardamom Waffles, I normally don't make waffles for one but you were completely worth it. Thank you for reminding me the importance of cooking and eating food that brings me joy. Dear Mr. Loerke, yesterday I saw this while looking for old bricks in an alleyway. I knew you'd appreciate. Over and out.

Happy Tuesday, brave ones! Waffles or pancakes?

Waffles. They have tiny pockets of joy.

Welcome back JACK BAUER...we have been waiting. Can. Not. Wait.

Happy Tuesday Emily, Tim, River and Little.

Waffles. When we were dating, one of our dates was having homemade waffles! ha!

Before we were even dating, my husband was given a waffle iron that is so old that the cord is covered in that fabric/yarn material. We may burn the house down one day, but it is so worth it for the waffles that come off that iron.

(my favorite? gingerbread waffles!)
(his favorite? good ol' buttermilk)

Where was the journal hidden? I tried to start the idea and so taped it to the bathroom wall. Chris knew something was up because the shower curtain was pulled across even when it wasn't in use. The idea didn't really take off as Chris isn't a writer and would rather just tell me what's on his mind lol. Waffles are soooooo yummy! But pancakes are easier to make - we make gluten free american style pancakes in this house - we even have proper American Maple syrup at the moment thanks to my friend who lives in New Hampshire

Pancakes! Mostly because I don't have a waffle iron and also because waffles feel more like dessert to me. They need to be eaten with ice cream. Although I have a very sweet tooth I can't handle ice cream for brekky ;-)

That waffle looks delicious. We like to make waffles on the weekend and then freeze the leftovers to toast during the week. So much tastier than frozen waffles from the grocery store.

First of all, bring it on, Jack! I love him & the whole CTU crew.

Secondly, I would go with waffles especially that one pictured - oh my gosh, does that look delish! :)

Waffles ftw (for the win).

Pancakes! For some reason, I don't even like waffles. It doesn't make sense.

I'm doing Whole30 right now... my tummy says both! Had my first crazy food dream last night about cupcakes and hot dogs.

WAFFLES!

Mostly because anyone can make a pancake. It takes a waffle iron owner to make a waffle. I am not one of those people.

Haha! #washyerbutt
Waffles are best when eating 'em with your best.

More than Nordic sweaters & traveling journals.

Loved this post! I'm so glad to hear you're still doing your traveling journal. And waffles are my favorite.
