{Gratitude} Lately

Wednesday, May 07, 2014

Lately I've been thankful for seed sharing friends who inspire me to plant new things.

For new pullets to hold.

For an excuse to bake 9 loaves of banana bread each week for our Airbnb guests.

For shared cinnamon rolls on a Saturday morning.

For treasures found in dumpsters.

For the dahlias in our backyard that remind me of those I love.

For raw cow's milk from our neighbors.

And for malted chocolate pecan pies made by friend's I adore.
Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough.
Happy Wednesday, brave ones.
What have you been thankful for lately?

I love the idea of a seed exchange! I'm not much of a green thumb & I wish that I was but maybe this would be something to try to work on it. :)

Love that you are gardening and seeing pieces of life with your baby girl. With 7 week twins, I'm just now beginning to be able to think about a single thing outside of them! My husband is wanting to start a garden and I told him I was inspired by you! :)

blog lurker, here (aka a never-commenter). combining your baking for your airbnb guests with your beekeeping talents--have you thought of making a honey-vanilla pound cake? watching barefoot contessa today and she just made one that looks freaking fantastic. love what you do, regardless!
