{Gratitude} Lately

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

Lately I've been thankful for morning walks with those that I love.

For Noel's homemade hibiscus booch.

For afternoon crepes and good conversation.

For Sunday mornings and the encouragement that they bring.

For pickling homegrown cukes while listening to this.

For kisses on Bravey's bald spots.

For summer beer and bonfires in the backyard.

For Rowan's first year of life and the curiosity of little boys.

For handfuls of these eaten cold straight from the fridge.

And for sleeping babes in barefoot pajamas.
Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough.
Happy Tuesday, brave ones.
What have you been thankful for lately?

This is a beautiful post. I have a two year old and a three week old, and life has felt increasingly overwhelming lately. Thanks for the reminder to remember what things I can be thankful for and change my perspective a bit. Thank you!

Love your thanks for simple everyday joys and beautiful pictures! Today I am thankful for how independent my young adults are becoming, cool iced coffee, and conversations with friends!

I'm thankful for a sister with a functioning printer in the house.... since I'm required to hand in a paper tomorrow at my very final practical exam of med school and my printer decided to go on strike this morning. AAAH! Gotta love my sister - who I always love - especially now and realizing how thankful I am for living in the same city (which will not be the case in the not-so-far future *sigh*).

Happy Wednesday to you!

As an outsider, it is easy to critique so I apologize. I am curious why you cute up Brave’s name? With a unique name, she will have to defend the name. As a parent you have to own it, believe in it, trust that it was a good choice so others in later years won’t question or tease it. You are strong. Brave is a great name, you should use it.
