{Gratitude Lately}

Tuesday, October 21, 2014

Lately I've been thankful for road trips across the Bluegrass State.

For familiar faces. {My mama 1955, Brave 2014}

For autumn cortados and hand-me-down shirts.

For shared burgers and truffle fries at the best basement bar in Louisville.

For Wallabee and Smartwool wearing weather.

For bubble toupees and bath time with Papa.

For afternoons on the river with my best friend.

And for overall cuties and who love to dig in the dirt.
Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough.
Happy Tuesday, brave ones.
What have you been thankful for lately?

Thankful for you and your view of the world. For coffee breaks in front of the computer. For hard, satisfying work. xoxo

Lately I've been thankful for fresh Cortlands picked from the tree, for a husband with a killer sense of humor, for carhartts on windy days, for walks that bring me where I can shuffle through layers of fallen leaves, and for October in northern New England.

thankful for a boyfriend that doesn't stop forgiving, a momma who loves and wants to teach, school for challenging me intellectually, subies for taking me beautiful places, and fall leaves to remind me change is always around the corner.

Oh my goodness! The family resemblance is incredible! Those cheeks! So adorable.
I've been thankful for crisp fall days here in Colorado, and the lack of wind allowing all the beautiful golden leaves to stay on the trees as long as possible. We almost always get our first snow on or around Halloween, so I know it's coming, but it's been such a wonderful season so far. Cheers to shorter days and warmer hearts!
