{Gratitude Lately}

Saturday, December 20, 2014

Lately I've been thankful for gifted silver maple and a dude who can swing an axe.

For treasures found in the walls of our attic.

For the last piece of Aunt Bill's candy.

For catching this one ridin dirty.

And for bacon and tangerine booch for breakFEAST.
Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough.
Happy Saturday, brave ones.
What have you been thankful for most in 2014?

A happy, loving, healthy, blessed family.
It's not trite if its true ;)

Family. One that asks for help when it is needed. One that accepts change because it is a part of growth. One that is sad when you are not there, but rejoices when you come back home.

A close second: I'm 36 yrs old and I'm finally watching (& loving!!) "A Christmas Story". I cannot believe that I wouldn't watch it when my older siblings did.

The attic wall treasures are so interesting! When I moved into my first family home as a child, we found all sorts of trinkets and notes stuffed in the walls and under baseboards. It was like Christmas every time we found something!
