{Gratitude Lately}

Lately I've been thankful for pre-morning stillness.

For the first family run of the year.

For leftover kale feasts for our ladies.

For denim cuties and the wonder of kicking feet.

For evening walks and electric blue skies.

And for a dozen Nord's donuts shared before a day fishing on the river.
Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough.
Happy Tuesday, brave ones.
What have you been thankful for lately?

I have been thankful lately for firewood delivered from my grandparents to keep the house on the hill warm.

I have also been thankful that for every touchdown or NFL play made, has stirred up excitement in fans that I genuinely love to see planted on their face and expressed through their cheerful banter! GO SPORTS!

Lately, I've been grateful for: tea instead of coffee in the morning; warm sunny days and cloudless blue skies in Denver; time spent alone, writing; and all the good New Year vibes I'm still riding on.

Thank you for these reminders that the little things are enough. :)

Also, all the Bravey/Rowan pics. Are there cuter kids on the Internet?

Time to squeeze in a pre-blizzard run. Snow days, so I can catch up on grading. Recommendation letters filled with kind words.
