{Lake McDonald} Glacier National Park

Monday, June 08, 2015

While in Montana Tim and I stayed two nights in Glacier National Park at Lake McDonald Lodge.
The surrounding Western Red Cedars kept us humble and
the stillness of the water brought us so much peace.
We truly had only seen places like this in picture books before and
couldn't help but feel so grateful to be there!
Have you ever been to Glacier National Park before?
If so, we'd love to know what you loved most about it!
Happy Monday, y'all.

I absolutely LOVE Glacier. We live in Florida and are headed out for our 4th time this summer. If you get a chance next time you are there, Two Medicine is STUNNING!!! And, you usually have the place to yourselves.

Your pictures capture that amazing place so well. :) If you ever get the chance to go when the Going-To-The-Sun Road is open, do it - it's terrifyingly awesome! Hands-down one of the best drives my husband and I took on our cross country move.

We traveled there from Pennsylvania for our honeymoon about 4 years ago. I would drop everything to return to those breathtaking views and hikes. Not sure if you went to Missoula, but that's a pretty neat little town. Next time, we will go earlier in the year to visit Montana. When we went in October, it rained everyday except the day we drove up to Glacier. The mountains there are humbling and the air is so pure. Thanks for posting the pictures!
