{Gratitude Lately}

Sunday, September 27, 2015

Lately I've been thankful for mornings on the porch with Twinner's coffee.

For baby mocs and Bean boot wearing weather.

For the last honey harvest of the season.

For pumpkins to check on before bath time.

And for hand painted cards and the thoughtfulness of others.
Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough.
Happy Sunday, brave ones.
What have you been thankful for lately?

Thank you for your gratitude posts. They are always so encouraging for me- move me to pause, take a breath, and seek out joy and gratitude in the simplicity.

Where did you purchase or how did you build the guards around your raised beds? We recently got a puppy & she is crazy about digging up our veggies!

Emorris, my dad and I built it! It's been the perfect thing to keep our chickens, pup, and brave out of our raised beds :)

Awesome! Did you all get most of the supplies at a hardware store? Is the wiring chicken wire? They look awesome!

emorris, all from home depot! it's not chicken wire (much smaller), but i think it's similar. i think it's called cattle wire? you can find it at home depot or lowe's :)

Brave always has the most beautiful clothing (and smiles!). She looks so cozy and sweet, and I love the neutral colors. My first little is due in February and I was wondering where you find a lot of it.

Lynds, you're really sweet to say that! Her shirt is a hand me down from Rowan, the sweater was Tim's neice's, and we got the Mocs at a flea market here in Louisville. Most of the time it's a miracle if she's wearing clothes! We try and hit up the online sale at baby Gap for pants and jammers. We've learned hand me downs are the best because of how quickly they outgrow clothes at this age! So excited for your sweet babe to arrive next Feb!!! Xoxo

I am so thankful for a wonderful son, a step-daughter who is equally wonderful, a sweetheart to die for, and a Lord who constantly reveals God's self through surprisingly inventive ways. And for your Weekly Questions idea. Smiles
