{Gratitude Lately}

Wednesday, November 11, 2015

Lately I've been thankful for friends who show up with coffee and bread for French toast.

For the peace I feel when I'm outside with my family.

For leaf covered sidewalks.

For bass on the fly.

For sweet friends to celebrate.

And for the wonder of first hayrides.
Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough.
Happy Wednesday, brave ones!
What have you been thankful for lately?

Wonderful, as always. I stared at the sweet picture of you with all of your friends for quite a while; at first, because it is a great photo; then because I couldn't reconcile what was going on with your friends' hands on the right side of the frame. I thought the last woman had a badly broken/deformed wrist! LOL. I always think it's funny when photos line up just-so like that.

I love these gratitude posts. They always make me stop and take notice of my world which is constantly spinning. I am thankful for Fall and Winter. My two favorite months. I get excited like a kid and the ice cream truck. I am thankful for this season of unsettling in my world. For the peace of accepting that my hubs and I wont have kids and the excitement of what this new vision of our future looks like. I am thankful for what God is doing in the chaos we are about to enter with my hubbys health issues and facing fears head on covered in faith. I know that even in chaos and the unknown, Someone far wiser than me is working it all out to make sense. Thank you for reminding me to be grateful even in the not so flowery times.
