{Today's Letters}

Dear Timothy James, last weekend you trimmed our neighbors trees and picked up my prescription after noticing it needed to be refilled. Both were done on your own initiative, both made me feel so loved. Dear Bravey Train, as a mom I've learned to value the gift of a 5 minute shower taken in solitude. Thank you for also showing me to value your company and the sweet reminder to look out our window and say goodnight to the chickens and potatoes. Dear 30 Minute Nap, I'm sorry I was so mean to you in kindergarten. As a mama, you make me feel like I won a vacation. Dear Mr. Loerke, lately you've been reading fly fishing books and sending me articles about nyphing and casting competitions. I love the things you teach me!

Happy Wednesday, Brave ones! What books have you been reading lately? After finding this article online I ordered this book. Can't wait to read it!

Yes! I just yesterday heard an interview with that author and was planning on ordering the book, too! I'm nearly finished with Pilgrim at Tinker Creek by Annie Dilliard - it's such a beautiful and inspiring study on the world outside her back door, and on presence, as well.

What sweet reminders of what we have all around us to be thankful for! I've been wanting to read that book as well. I hope you post about it!

It is so wonderful of you to share the "Everyday Adventures" of your sweet family! I have been following you on Instagram since a while and your photos and comments have put a smile on my face many times. I am a huge fan of Brave TV, as it is so nice to hear her sing and laugh and watch her grow. She is really a sweet little girl!

Warm greetings form Germany

Jule

I've been at a Christian Festival for the last couple of days so bought one called Deep by Frog and Amy Orr-Ewing (yes his name is Frog for real! Not a nickname haha!). I heard Amy speak in the main meeting on Sunday evening - she told a story all about how her and her team got bibles into Afghanistan back in the 90s - OH MY GOODNESS! it was such an amazing story and all about how God is in control even when the odds seem crazily stacked against you. (You can find it here if you do want to read).
