Dear Timothy James, after a year and a half, you're still faithfully setting out Brave's jammers and sleep diaper for her nap before you leave for work. Know your thoughtfulness to think ahead is hotter than than the fire that broke out in Sweet Brown's apartment. Dear Bravey Train, ever since you learned how to jump you've been leaping off of E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Your continued effort to live up to your name encourages me greatly! Dear July 25th, it feels fitting to drink a bottle of Ovaltine and dress like a deranged Easter bunny today since you mark 5 months until Christmas. Looking forward to decking the harrs with boughs of horry in New Zealand this holiday season. Dear Tim the Toolman Loerke, this weekend you have plans to build an outdoor rack to store all of our stove wood for winter. I fully expect your chest hair to grow at least an inch.

Happy Monday, y'all! Speaking of five months until Christmas, what's your all time favorite Holiday movie?

I think we're at 5 months to Christmas, not 6. Am I right? It's been a long day.

Five months away. Wow! And I only got two weekends of camping in so far. I best get on that!

I really like to watch "The Family Stone" and "Love Actually." My husband says he knows the holidays are near when I put them in the DVD player....

I also really like the Muppets Christmas Carol.

If potential friends had to fill out applications, "I fully expect your chest hair to grow at least an inch" would put yours right on top! LOVE your brainbox,Emily!

A couple of years ago I established the tradition of watching one Christmas movie on each of the four advent Sunday's. The watchlist is the following: Love Actually, The Holiday, Merry Christmas and The Family Stone. So there you have it my (four) all time favorite Christmas movies ;-)

Em, what's yours?

I mentioned two that you listed and I almost said "The Holiday" as well. What is Merry Christmas? I need to look that one up!

Elf is my go to for laughs. And I know it's annoying to most, but It's A Wonderful Life is my favorite. Still makes me tear up and reminds me of the many things to be thankful for in my own life.

Just came back from vacay on the beach in Florida with friends who are more like family. We celebrated Christmas in July since we never get the holidays together. It was 150 degrees outside in Jacksonville, but we had Christmas music going and made a full Christmas meal and set the house up with twinkle lights, mistletoe and dancing snowmen. Here's to the best holiday being celebrated year round!
