{Today's Letters}

Dear Mr. Loerke, since you've been gone I've mowed the lawn, ordered 4 ricks of firewood, and crawled into our attic to discover a family of raccoons ate 15 ft of duct work and insulation. But don't worry, I got this! {Insert lots of "I think I can, I think I can's" here}. Dear Bravey Train, to the girl who did a sand angel at her school open house and who continues to call her teacher "Miss. Apron" instead of Miss. April, I adore you. Dear Chilly Mornings, it's finally vest weather. So glad you're back so I can start channeling my inner Hans Solo again. Dear Tim, recently I've discovered one of my idols isn't productivity as much as it is effectiveness. You take away my ability to effectively love and serve others and I feel like I've been cut off at the knees. These are the things I'd tell you probably while brushing our teeth next to each other before getting ready for bed. I miss you.

Happy Tuesday, y'all! Speaking of back to school, who was one of your most influential teachers growing up? I'll never forget Mr. Crawford, my shop class teacher in 7th grade. He helped me discovered my love for all things drill press and sawdust. I'll forever be indebted to that man!

As long as you are making Angels Brave, that is all that matters. Make them everywhere! :) Aren't those late night sink or pillow conversations the best? Thanks for sharing your idols and or struggles with us - makes us feel more human.

Most influential teacher was my BSU director at college - does that count? He challenged us to separate our parents beliefs from Biblical truths and it was life changing. For once I could say what I really believed and it was honestly mine and built on truth. Will never forget him.

Yes, praise Baby Jesus for Fall weather. I can hear leaves crunching under my feet already. :)
