{Salt Lake City} Utah

Wednesday, September 28, 2016

Last week Moll's and I flew to Utah and Arizona for our annual fishing trip sans kiddos.
Salt Lake City did not disappoint!
We stayed at this downtown studio which was by far our best Airbnb experience yet.
We also loved:
Coffee at PublikPastries from Tulie Bakery
Breakfast & coffee at The Rose Establishment
If you're ever in Salt Lake City, be sure and hit up these places!

I love, love, love that you go on trips without kids! I am 39 without kids and would wish that one of my friends would do that ... I sure like all of the kids - but for me it is nice to have talkes without kids around sometimes. And see the friends besides their mom/dad function. Plus I love the last picture - you both look happy!

I'm a little behind on reading blogs after doing some traveling overseas. BUT - I just had to say I'm so glad you came to Utah to do some fishing! Utah has been my home now for 15 years and I have fallen in love with the gorgeous outdoor playgrounds this state has to offer. I am always so happy when people come to see what Utah has to offer. (When I'm traveling and people ask where I'm from and I say Utah, usually there isn't much of a response. "Oh. Nice." I resist the urge to launch into a list of reasons why Utah is beautiful, to replace whatever other image they have in their minds.)
