Dear Timothy James, before I went out of town you left a note on my dashboard that I've since re-read a dozen times. Thank you for affirming me and for constantly being my greatest encourager. Dear Flannel Sheets, you're just as magical as Applesauce Spice Cake in the fall, books I can't put down, and saying hello to strangers. Dear Bravey, every time I do laundry I smile at all of the grass stains and dirty sleeves on your pink dresses. You are a girl through and through but equally love the outdoors. I love this about you! Dear Mr. Loerke, this week we get to dress up as a family for Boo at the Zoo, see the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Iroquois Park, and visit Camp HiHo for a bonfire and s'mores with friends. There isn't any other man I'd rather do these things with than you. Over and out.

Happy Monday, y'all! One thing you should know about Tim is he has a deep love and appreciation for all things festivals. We'd love to know what sort of fall activities / traditions you do as a family in the fall!

Fall has the best festivals! Our traditions are on our annual Fall Bucket List. Pumpkin carving, attending the Nashville Farmers Night market (twinkle lights, fresh veggies, donuts, all things cider and coffee, foos trucks, wine and beer...perfection), at least 3 pumpkin & or apple desserts, visit the pumpkin patch farm with hayrides and corn mazes, watch Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin and have at least 5 fire pits in the back yard. We also try to hang out with friends with kids Halloween night to go trick or treating, lets us feel a little of the joy parents feel that night (we have the best friends.) I <3 Fall.

Pumpkin carving, Apple picking and long walks through the forest are all a must. Since moving to the big city a couple of years ago the second and third are a little harder to make happen but it's all about perspective. A walk through the park can be just as magical if you put your mind to it :)
