It's often said that if you can catch a fish in Cheesman Canyon you can catch one anywhere.
This section of the South Platte is both technical and challenging, making in known for serving humble pie to anglers as they try to net fish around it's bouldered terrain and deep pocket waters.
That said, Ash, Moll's and I came with low expectations and high optimism.
Cheesman was good to us giving us a handful of bows and browns.
We were also thankful to have our friend Peter join us for the afternoon!
Peter is one of the best guides I've ever had the privilege of fishing with.
He reads people as well as he does the river, and his humility will challenge
every prideful crevice of your heart.
If you ever need a guide on the South Platte I can't recommend Peter enough!
Happy Wednesday, y'all.
