Last weekend Moll's and I somehow managed to pull over 30 large sized bows out of a honey hole
on the Davidson.
Days like these come once every couple of years!
A great way to end our annual fall road trip.
Happy Wednesday, y'all!

My wife and I were about half an hour from there that same weekend, catching rainbows on the Horsepasture river! We caught some nice Browns on the East fork of the French Broad too. It was her first time fly-fishing, I'm hoping she's addicted now :)
We stayed at an awesome Airbnb, it's an old Trout Fishing lodge right on a trout stream surrounded by woods that someone turned into an Airbnb. We caught a couple little cutthroats on that stream but had much better luck on the creeks/rivers nearby.

Ben! I love that you and your wife had such a great day fishing together! I hope she's hooked too ;) The Airbnb y'all stayed at looked amazing. Thanks for sending that link! We're always looking for great places to stay when we head out east to fish.
